The Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Heather. Geoff moved and Margaret seconded that the minutes be accepted as read. Carried
Business Arising:
Dianne's photo has to be put on the wall.
The men shed were contacted re. fixing the balustrading on the Shearer's Quarters.
Liz moved and Peter seconded that a letter be sent to CEO Jodie Taylor at WDRC, requesting that in any decision re. cameras in Jandowae that we request that one be placed in a position that would help to stop vandalism at our heritage precinct.
Correspondence:Inwards— Elspeth Hocking (Cobb & Co Museum Agreement, Elspeth (Meeting at Library 18th December), Wambo Wind Farm. Outwards— Emails to Elspeth
Margaret moved and Beryl seconded that the inwards correspondence be received and the outwards endorsed.
Treasurer's Report: Cr. Balance was $2937.45 is now $11,110.35.Term Deposit $12,399.40. Income: — Wambo Wind Farm Grant $8235. WDRC public liability insurance $502 is due to be paid to us Expenditure: Office Fair Trading $62.10.
Margaret moved that the report be accepted, Seconded by Beryl. Carried
General Business:
Australia Day Breakfast. Margaret will collect the gold coin donations. Tanya Maunder's children will be asked if they would be willing to clean and dust in the week prior to the 26th. The committee will pay for them to do so.
Felicity Taylor is to be asked to once again co-ordinate the activities for the children.
A new sign (1200 mm) is to be purchased from Sundown Signs to advertise the day. Heather is to order and send a photo to Sundown Signs — Date, 7.30am Breakfast, 8am Awards. Council to supply the cake. WDRC will also publicise the event. Heather and Margaret to do signs for the notice boards. Ian to check on the gas for bbq's and gazebos from Junior Rugby League. Heather to check with Sally re. water.
Cleaning & Catering — 50 cups, 150 plates, 100 knives & forks, teaspoons, serviettes 200. Tea, coffee, 4 litres milk and sauces to be purchased at Spar.
Heather to order 10 dozen sausages, 6 loaves bread, 9 dozen eggs at the butchers.
