Blackmore
Note by H. Craik to Chapter 3 of Battle of the Books

Cf. p. 177, 1. 5 (note). In the Rhapsody on Poetry, Swift, who had by that time, perhaps, imbibed more of the contempt felt by Pope and his faction for Blackmore, speaks of Blackmore with more sweeping condemnation, as the successor to Flecknoe's crown.
